Introduction :

          Narmamotha is found in large quantities of moisture and aquatic areas throughout India. Its bushy plants are found to be 6,000 feet above sea level. Narmamotha is born in the humid soil of river and drains. Flowers come in July and fruits in the month of December.

Narmamotha bush shrub length is 30 to 60 cm high. Its leaves are long and thin. In its stem, the elliptic odor of half an inch in diameter is yellow from the outside but the white dye (fruits) from the inside. In the root of Narmamotha , a tuber comes out like a karooru , which is called Narmamotha .

Useful in various diseases :

1. Vata blood : Consumption of honey with turmeric, amla and narmalmath with honey can benefit the blood vessel.

2. Fever :

  • Drinking a decoction of Narmmotha and Giloya reduces the fever.
  • Drinking a decoction of nutmeg and chili powder in 20-40 grams reduces cold fever and gives strength to digest food.

3. Asthma :

  • Asthma and cough are destroyed by mixing jaggery in the powders of Narmmotha, Sunth and large herds.
  • Grind dry ginger, vermicelli and nutmeg and mix it in jaggery and keep tablets in 2-2 grams of quantity. Sucking them causes all kinds of cough and asthma to be destroyed.

4. Cholera : Grind 10 grams nirmmotha, 6 grams asafoetida, 6 grams of camphor and 6 grams of peepal and grind them into water and make small rounds of half grams of pills. Feeding 1-1 tablet at the beginning of the cholera at 1-1 hour in the initial stage is definitely a benefit.
